Founded in 1984 by Dan Warthen, Sr., Warthen Appraisal Associates has become one of the largest appraisal firms in the Tri-State area. We are headquartered in Toms River, New Jersey and have an additional operations center in Edison, New Jersey. Warthen Appraisal Associates also has several satellite offices located throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York allowing us to quickly and accurately serve our clients appraisal needs.

Access to Information
We utilize a variety of ways to access information including Multiple Listing Services, tax search databases, and affiliations with local realtors and tax assessors to insure the most accurate value for your property.

Area Knowledge
For an appraisal to be accurate and complete it is necessary to have complete knowledge of the area where the appraisal will be performed. To meet this requirement we have established geographical territories for each appraiser in our firm. This allows the appraiser to have greater knowledge of the location and firm relationships with local real estate professionals in the area, all which contribute to creating accurate appraisals.
